We support Black Squirrel Economic Alliance (BSEA) in building the organizational, community, and communications ecosystem needed to bring its vision to life. As a nonprofit led by Black and Brown community leaders advancing equitable housing redevelopment and neighborhood revitalization, BSEA is working to strengthen communities through leadership, investment, and opportunity. We serve as an extension of the BSEA team, providing both strategic and hands-on support across project management, operations, community engagement and outreach, marketing and communications, media strategy, graphic design, event production, and grant support. We help coordinate projects and partners, strengthen internal systems, develop and execute communications and outreach strategies, create compelling materials, support funding opportunities, and produce events that connect people to BSEA’s work. Across these efforts, our role is to help turn vision into action by building the systems, relationships, visibility, and momentum BSEA needs to grow while keeping its work grounded in and accountable to the communities it was created to serve.

Our work with VVMTA has spanned both organizational strategy and community engagement. We supported the development of VVMTA’s five-year strategic plan, helping leadership clarify priorities, align around a shared direction, and create a roadmap to guide the organization’s growth and impact. Separately, we supported VVMTA’s community-led trails initiative through coalition support, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communications. We helped design an engagement process that centered the voices of Spanish-speaking residents, while strengthening coordination among community partners and stakeholders. Our work included engagement and outreach strategy, facilitated conversations, stakeholder coaching, and culturally responsive English and Spanish communications and materials. Across both efforts, our role has been to help VVMTA move from ideas and community input to greater alignment and stronger relationships to achieve a shared goal.

Our work with The BIPOC Alliance is rooted in building the people, power, and infrastructure needed to turn grassroots organizing into sustained community impact. We have supported the organization from its early development, helping build the systems, strategy, resources, and relationships necessary for a community-led nonprofit to grow while staying accountable to its mission and the people it serves. Our partnership spans nonprofit infrastructure and operations, grant writing and reporting, communications and marketing, event production, coalition building, and community engagement. We also support advocacy and civic education efforts that help community members better understand the systems and decisions affecting their lives to be able to build the knowledge, relationships, and collective power to influence them. Across the work, we bring a justice-oriented approach that centers the leadership, lived experience, and priorities of BIPOC communities. We strengthened the organization’s capacity to organize, mobilize, and create lasting change.

Our work with Convivir Colorado focused on helping an immigrant-led, immigrant-serving organization navigate change while strengthening the people and structures at the heart of its work. Across multiple staff retreats and organizational development engagements, we created space for teams to step out of the day-to-day, reconnect with one another, clarify how they work together, and prepare for what comes next. During a period of major political uncertainty and very real threats to immigrant communities and the organizations serving them, we facilitated conversations around change management, organizational resilience, funding uncertainty, and how shifts in the political landscape could affect Convivir’s staff, programs, and community. The work balanced practical planning with the need to acknowledge the human impact of leading through the unknown. Our partnership also included team building, organizational structure and role clarity, staff connection and alignment, and Board education designed to strengthen understanding of nonprofit governance and the responsibilities of Board service.
